Assistant Professor of Developmental Biology

The Hope College Biology Department invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in August 2018. The ideal candidate will develop a vigorous, externally funded research program that addresses questions of fundamental importance in developmental biology and that engages undergraduate students as active collaborators; generous start-up funds support this endeavor. S/he will be responsible for an upper-level course in developmental biology and will contribute to the introductory biology sequence; teaching advanced courses in her/his area of expertise is possible as well. Depending on research area and qualifications, participation in Hope's Neuroscience and/or Biochemistry & Molecular Biology programs may also be appropriate.
