The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Texas invites applications for the position of Lecturer beginning spring 2018. This appointment is a non-tenurable, one year appointment that may be renewed annually for up to 3 years at the sole discretion of the University.
The position requires a PhD in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field at the time of employment. Candidates must provide evidence of excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teaching.
Duties consist of the equivalent of four undergraduate courses per semester. A Lecturer will be expected to teach a wide variety of courses in the undergraduate curriculum. Other teaching-related duties such as advising and accreditation, which aid the department's teaching mission may be assigned as necessary.
