Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for an Instructional Technologist for the School of Social Work. The Instructional Technologist will lead in the development implementation of instructional technology related projects related to School of Social Work programs. Other duties may include but are not limited to; implementing and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS); curriculum mapping, online curriculum development, and instructional design; adapting trainings to a web-based format; creating engaging activities and exercises; and utilize principles of adult learning theory to enhance retention and transfer of learning.

The position reports to the Program Manager, Title IV-E Training Grant.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR a Master's degree and one (1) year of related experience required.

Related Professional Experience: child welfare; with emphasis in training/teaching including curriculum development/instructional design; some project management experience or related.

Grants-in-aid for Faculty Employees
