RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assistant Director for International Enrollment Marketing and CRM Operations is responsible for supporting the recruitment operations for Athens and ecampus through Undergraduate Admissions, including the successful implementation and ongoing project management for the university’s constituent relationship management system (CRM), as well as development, execution, and analysis of mixed-media, data-driven targeted recruitment communication campaigns. This position will focus primarily on supporting the recruitment operations for the international undergraduate student populations.

Under the direction of the Director of Enrollment Marketing and CRM Operations, the position supports the implementation of data-informed and systems-based solutions to facilitate the execution of outreach, recruitment travel, territory management, recruitment communication, campus visit programming, volunteer management, yield programming, faculty and staff recruitment efforts, and reporting and analysis on behalf of Ohio University’s Undergraduate Admissions. The incumbent is responsible for identifying opportunities to leverage current and new technologies for greatest effectiveness in recruitment operations.

The position represents the University both on- and off-campus by providing counseling and advice on a range of admission and enrollment processes to a wide variety of constituents, including prospective students and their families, secondary and postsecondary school personnel, community-based organizations, and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process. The incumbent develops and executes recruitment plans for an assigned territory or population, including programs and travel activities around Ohio and nationally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to travel independently. Successful incumbents must pass a comprehensive background check (including criminal), university judiciary review, and regular driving record audits. 3-5 years of work related experience. Working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations. Ability to anticipate and resolve issues with internal and external constituents in a variety of situations. Knowledge of and ability to abide by the Statements and Principles of Good Practice of the National Association for College Admission Counseling. Ability to act independently and autonomously as an agent of and positive reflection of Ohio University, Undergraduate Admissions, and/or the Office of Regional Higher Education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree preferred. Proficiency in basic SQL. Experience in developing reports to support business analytics.

Experience with Technolutions Slate or similar customer relationship management (CRM) system. Experience

managing CRM operations outside the United States. Experience with Chinese social media marketing (WeChat, Weibo, Youku, etc.) Knowledge of search, mobile, marketing, and enrollment trends in international student recruitment. Ability to research and make digital marketing recommendations on Chinese platforms. Proficiency in Mandarin. Unrestricted  and/or renewable legal authorization to travel internationally to and from the United States, and willing to travel internationally.
