The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases.

Teaching responsibilities may include a variety of settings such as lecturing, clinical teaching, and mentoring fellows within the Health System.

Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients at any of the entities within the Health System.

The selected candidate will have the capacity to implement and grow state of the art programs including but not limited to valve therapies, structural heart disease, high risk coronary interventions, electrophysiology interventions, VAD's and vascular medicine. The successful candidate will oversee a large and geographically disperse network of outpatient practice and testing sites and will be responsible for faculty recruitment to support continued growth at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He or she will have the ability to provide leadership, support quality and safety, and lead and maintain clinical excellence. This position carries an academic appointment at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, and Membership in the Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania. We are seeking a physician leader in cardiovascular medicine. The successful applicant should have a demonstrated track record of excellence in clinical care, leadership and growth of cardiovascular programs, clinical investigation and education. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits of active and high quality teaching responsibilities. There will be an expectation of the ability of the selected candidate to provide management and/leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
