Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Director of Special Collections Processing, and working in close collaboration with the Goldstein Director of Information Processing, the Hidden Collections Processing Coordinator will direct a library-wide initiative to increase access to the Penn Libraries' hidden collections. The Coordinator will also scope out projects requiring specialized expertise, seek funding opportunities, make recommendations for batch-processing and outsourcing, recommend optimal levels of processing and access (e.g. item/collection, minimal/full), make recommendations for the creation of metadata for digital assets, and monitor progress in increasing access to our collections.
