Assistant Professor, Education
The Teacher Education program at Capital University seeks qualified applicants for an Integrated Science tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor. Applicants must have an earned doctorate and science teaching experience in the K-12 environment. Applicants should have evidence of scholarship, demonstrated experience in university teaching, appropriate technology skills, and familiarity with national accreditation processes. In addition to the above qualifications, the department seeks individuals interested in collaborating with faculty in other departments on the development of distinctive interdisciplinary undergraduate programs and that are committed to fostering linkages between the local community and Capital University. Knowledge and experience in education technology preferred.
