ABOUT THE OFFICE OF THE UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR

Collaborating closely with the Office of Information Technology and a host of vendor partners, the Registrar team designs innovative services and solutions for faculty, staff, advisors, and students. Examples of success include early implementation of preferred names and pronouns for students, a custom faculty and advising center, a new OHIO Guarantee+ Graduation Plan system, and tailored reports and integrations for multiple University constituents.

POSITION SUMMARY

Assists the associate registrar for technology and communication in analyzing and defining requirements for technology supporting the OHIO Guarantee+ Graduation Plan, and serves as the primary contact for testing and implementing the requirements. Provides expertise in data and analytics related to the technology support of OHIO Guarantee+ Graduation Plan. Assists the graduation plan curriculum analyst to analyze graduation plans (curricular and experiential pathway) to ensure compliance with approved curricular requirements and appropriate milestones to provide an engaging experiential learning opportunity for the student.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the associate registrar for technology and communication in analyzing and defining requirements for technology supporting the OHIO Guarantee+ Graduation Plan, and serve as the primary contact for testing and implementing the requirements. Work with registrar, information technology, and Center for Advising, Career, and Experiential Learning staff to define requirements for system enhancements and plan for software upgrades. Develop and executes test plans (including coordination with internal and external stakeholders) and troubleshoot issues related to creation and maintenance of graduation plans and graduation plan templates in the centrally supported systems, such as PeopleSoft and Graduation Plan.

Provide expertise in data and analytics related to the technology support of OHIO Guarantee+ Graduation Plan. Work with OIT, registrar, and Graduation Plan teams to understand data needs related to supporting the Graduation Plan. Coordinate with the technology, integration, and reporting analyst to update and enhance the reporting system data models as needed to support
technology and process changes for the Graduation Plan.

Assist the graduation plan curriculum analyst to analyze graduation plans (curricular and experiential pathway) to ensure compliance with approved curricular requirements and appropriate milestones to provide an engaging experiential learning opportunity for the student. Ensure graduation plan templates align with official degree requirements as described in the degree audit system and undergraduate catalog.

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree conferred by start date and at least 3 years of related work experience.

A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above education.

Pay Rate

Based on extensive benchmarking data, the target hiring range for this position is $58,972 – $68,566. The exact base salary for the selected candidate will be negotiable, commensurate with education and experience, and competitive in the field within the context of similarly situated positions at public universities nationally.

This position may have the option for hybrid or remote work options. Flexplace agreements will be determined upon hire.
