Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified in Pediatrics.

Teaching responsibilities may include high quality teaching of CHOP fellows and residents as well as medical students from the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and/or outpatient clinical services in the candidate's sub-specialty, including supervision of residents and fellows (if applicable).

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include experience in health services, quality, epidemiology, implementation and dissemination research as well as medical informatics. Clinician-Educator track applicants will be expected to show evidence of scholarship. Tenure track candidates will be expected to publish in peer-reviewed journals and generate external funding to support their research activities.
