Vice President for Enrollment Management

Stevens Institute of Technology, a dynamic and accredited not-for-profit private research university seeks an accomplished, data-informed, and creative Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM). The new vice president will work closely with President Nariman Farvardin to define and build the university’s next chapters of growth and success.

The Vice President for Enrollment Management will provide visionary leadership in support of the University’s undergraduate enrollment goals consistent with its strategic plan for 2022-2032. Building on an extremely successful 10-year period of enrollment growth characterized by increases in the size, academic profile and diversity of the undergraduate student body, the Vice President will be responsible for devising and overseeing the execution of a strategy to shape undergraduate enrollment for the next decade.

Reporting directly to the President and with a dotted line report to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost, the Vice President for Enrollment Management has oversight and responsibility for the Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid offices, net tuition revenue targets, financial aid discounting strategies, and related budgets. The Vice President for Enrollment Management will work closely with campus and external partners to further increase applications, and improve selectivity and yield, and, in close consultation with the Provost and Deans, to ensure that undergraduate enrollment grows strategically in alignment with broader institutional goals.

The Vice President will have exceptionally strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and financial aid modeling with a proven record of successfully using data-informed decision-making methods. The successful candidate will be well-versed in demographic and recruitment trends and challenges and will demonstrate successful execution of best practices and innovative methods to meet enrollment goals.
