<p><strong>Bowling Green State University.</strong></p> <p><strong>Position: </strong>Full-time, tenure-track position, open rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, with the possibility of tenure for appropriately qualified candidates), Aviation Program, Department of Engineering Technologies. Preferred starting date is January 2018 but August 2018 start is negotiable.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong>: Teach and develop undergraduate level courses in airline operations, air traffic control, and aviation and /or airport management. Conduct research that leads to peer-reviewed publications in aviation, transportation, or related-areas; actively seek external research support as appropriate. Service to the department, college, and university as well as to the profession at a national level.</p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong>: A doctoral degree in Aviation or related field required; advanced ABD candidates will be considered but must complete degree by end of first year of employment. &nbsp;Area of specialization within aviation is open, but ability to teach or develop courses in airline operations, air traffic control, safety, or other aviation-related area.</p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp; </strong>Candidates should demonstrate experience or the ability to teach and develop aviation courses at the undergraduate level and conduct research leading to peer-reviewed publications in aviation-related fields, including pursing external funding where appropriate.&nbsp; Professional experience in the aviation-industry is also preferred.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Application deadline</strong>: September 19, 2017.
