Assistant Vice Provost of Admissions

Following five consecutive years of record breaking enrollment, the new Assistant Vice Provost of Admissions will lead the University of Cincinnati’s recruitment efforts during a time of tremendous momentum and opportunity for the institution. Reporting to the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, the Assistant Vice Provost leads the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and is an integral part of the university's multi-faceted Enrollment Management team. In executing an innovative and strategic recruitment, admissions and yield program, the Assistant Vice Provost will help extend the university’s reach – locally, regionally, nationally and internationally – to an increasingly talented and diverse student population. The Assistant Vice Provost serves as a highly visible and engaged campus leader and assures close partnership with UC’s many audiences, with particular attention to maintaining a strong and facilitative relationship with the university’s colleges.

 

First and foremost, the Assistant Vice Provost will be an experienced admissions leader who can act as the driving force behind a high-performing, highly effective admissions operation. The successful candidate will demonstrate innovation in practice, knowledge of cutting edge technologies in the enrollment arena and data reporting, as well as lead the office via data-informed decisions. She or he will be excited about and possess the skills to work within a forward-thinking and nimble enrollment environment. In addition, the Assistant Vice Provost will demonstrate a commitment to community engagement and promoting and enhancing diversity in all its forms within the context of a complex university in a vibrant city environment.
