The Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position whose research and teaching are focused on environmental politics and policy in an international context. Preference will be given to tenured applicants at the associate level or above, but strong junior applicants will be considered.

Applicants should have a PhD in a social science discipline or in public policy, and should have an interest in collaboration with scholars across disciplines, including environmental scientists and policy experts. Joint or concurrent appointment in the appropriate department is possible. Applicants should have an outstanding publication, grant writing, and teaching record and an established international reputation.

This position is part of the founding of the first new school at Notre Dame in nearly a century. The Keough School of Global Affairs (http://keough.nd.edu) promotes interdisciplinary research on critical issues in global affairs, and offers a master's degree as well as undergraduate and doctoral programs. The inaugural cohort for the two-year master's degree will arrive in Fall 2017 and consists of 38 students from 21 different countries. We seek applicants who can play a leadership and program building role within the Keough School; this position will also work closely with scholars affiliated with the Environmental Change Initiative (http://environmentalchange.nd.edu/) at Notre Dame.
