Student Services Program Coordinator

 

The Innovation Institute invites applications for the full-time position of Statewide Programs Coordinator, with a working title of Student Services Program Coordinator, position #122450. This position is located in Tallahassee, Florida office. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Student Services for the Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC). This position is responsible for maintaining the quality of the student services offered by FLVC, through review, enhancement, testing and documentation of the applications and resources.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years’ experience or a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience. This position requires a criminal background check and a valid driver’s license.

 

Preferred Qualifications: Higher education and post-secondary experience: Two years progressively responsible experience in student services, communications, training development, technical writing and public speaking in higher education related areas. Technical Writing experience: Demonstrated ability to research, write, edit and design end-user technical publications and other materials in print and electronic format. Ability to plan for, evaluate, and document user information needs, create informational materials suitable for a defined audience, and work collaboratively with the marketing department to create promotional and marketing materials/campaigns. Ability to develop online help and other user support features. Ability to present educational programs and/or workshops. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong customer service orientation. Excellent command of English language, grammar, and syntax. Knowledge of help authoring software, graphics software, publication layout and design. Ability to learn new products and grasp new techniques quickly.

 

Salary Range: $55,000 annually
