2 Part-Time Lecturer Pools: On-Campus undergraduate and MPH Program and Online MPH Program

The School of Public Health and Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is seeking applicants for several openings as part-time visiting lecturers for the on-campus undergraduate public health program, and the on-campus and online Master of Public Health programs. All 3 programs are fully accredited by CEPH and the school is a member of the ASPPH.
Responsibilities: Successful candidates will join the faculty of one of the three public health departments (BIO/EPI, HPP or EHS). Two pools of lecturers will be established to teach in all five public health disciplines (Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Community Health Education, Health Policy & Management and Environmental Health Sciences). Qualifications for the undergraduate public health program and Master of Public Health program
Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:
- Terminal Degree (PhD, MD, ScD, EdD) in one of the disciplines of Public Health, or a closely related field
- For the undergraduate public health program an MPH or MS in related field is also acceptable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Moodle or other Learning Management Software
- Strong evidence of Undergraduate and/or Masters in Public Health teaching experience in person or on-line

Qualifications for the Online Master of Public Health program
Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:
- Terminal Degree (PhD, MD, ScD, EdD) in one of the disciplines of Public Health, or a closely related field
- Strong evidence of prior teaching experience, either in person or online; online experience preferred
- Evidence of peer-reviewed publications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer literacy skills

This lecturer pool will be used to fill vacancies that may occur beginning in September 2017 through August 2020.
