Assistant Professor in Human Microbiome and Nutritional Sciences

As integral components of the University of Nevada, Reno, the Nevada Agricultural Experiment Station, the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension and the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources invite applications to fill an Assistant Professor in Human Microbiome and Nutritional Sciences position within the Department of Agriculture, Nutrition and Veterinary Sciences.

The position is for a dynamic nutritional scientist with research focuses on the application of nutritional science with an overarching goal of improving human health through dietary modulation of the gastrointestinal microbiome. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an innovative, independent, extramurally funded research program, provide excellent classroom instruction, contribute to curriculum development, advise and mentor undergrad and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and interact with a very multidisciplinary group of faculty.
