Coordinator of Student Diversity Programs

Coordinator of Student Diversity Programs College of Business Administration Provides academic guidance to all business majors; monitors academic progress of assigned students; coordinates planning, implementation, and administration of efforts related to the recruitment and retentionof underrepresented minorities; makes presentations to a wide variety of audiences; develops annual reports analyzing the success of efforts and status of college’s graduation and retention metrics relative to student diversity; serves as the advisor to the student organization EXCEL; aides in the delivery of the UNIBusiness Advising Office services; and performs other duties as requested.

Bachelor's degree; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience working as member of collaborative team; ability to develop strong working relationships with wide variety of stakeholders; ability to relate to the needs and concerns of the target student body; ability to analyze and interpret statistical data; and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information required. Master’s degree in business or student services or related field; knowledge of University and College of Business Administration policies and procedures; prior experience with recruiting, student services, and/or communityaffairs; and prior experience in higher education and with student diversity issues preferred. Criminal and other relevant background checks required.
