<p>ASSOCIATE or FULL PROFESSOR of PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE</p> <p>in&nbsp; BUSINESS INFORMATION SYSTEMS</p> <p>Neeley School of Business, Texas Christian University</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Texas Christian University invites applications for the <u>non-tenure track </u>&nbsp;position of Associate or Full Professor of Professional Practice in Business Information Systems in the Neeley School of Business beginning January 2018.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Description</strong></p> <p>The Business Information Systems program at Neeley has more than doubled in size over the past few years. We graduate high performing systems analysts, consultants, BI analysts and project managers, and achieve a near 100% placement rate. We are looking for a colleague with a rich background in the IT industry and a desire to facilitate interactions between students and industry partners. Preference will be given to applicants who provide evidence of excellence in teaching and student mentoring. Candidates for the position should possess a Ph.D. in a technical field, preferably related to Information Systems.</p> <p>Candidates should also have extensive IT industry experience as well as university teaching experience in IT. The base teaching load is 4-4 (eight 3-credit hour sections per year) with opportunities for additional summer teaching. This teaching load may &nbsp;be &nbsp;reduced if the candidate is able to take on the administrative role of Director of the BIS program.
