Estimator/Construction Project Manager

The University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL is seeking a full-time Estimator/Construction Project Manager: Position 125560. This position provides thorough, complete, and accurate cost estimates and schedules for design and construction projects of all scopes and sizes in support of the planning, funding, design, and construction of building projects. Provides project management for full range of new construction, renovation, and building systems upgrades including projects involving electrical lighting, supply and distribution systems, plumbing, mechanical, fiber, civil, structural, and architectural construction. Works closely with professionals in the commercial construction industry, as well as the public, to insure safe, structurally sound, and sanitary building construction. Work involves planning, estimating, plan checking, scheduling and field inspections as required ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and laws. Incumbent may be requested to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a high school diploma and eight years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/ technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
