Job Description Summary
The Director of Men's Lacrosse Operations is responsible for the management of the team's equipment, nutrition, travel, game day and practice logistics.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • On-Field: practice & game day logistics (stats, equipment, etc.)
  • Equipment: order, distribute & manage in conjunction with equipment managers; includes Nike & STX gear
  • Fueling station; includes ordering, distribution and budget/payment
  • Travel & meals: schedule bus/air travel, book hotels, arrange meals
  • General Office Admin
  • Support external communications, (i.e., parents, alumni, players)
  • Liaison with other DRIA offices, such as Development, Finance Office, Marketing (i.e., manage social media profiles including Instagram, twitter, and Facebook)


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience in administration, education, leadership, and/or coaching preferred. Previous experience in college athletics as a player, coach, and/or administrator preferred; excellent organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong computer skills and awareness of technology; knowledge of social media; career interest in either coaching or athletic administration preferred. Ability to work evenings and weekends. Ability to travel required. Valid driver's license.
