Job Description

The Senior Consultant for Compliance and Regulatory Affairs serves in a long term temporary part-time role. The Senior Consultant oversees the analysis of data collection processes associated with compliance and regulatory matters. The Senior Consultant advises the Dean and senior Law School administrators on accreditation matters per regulations and processes dictated by the American Bar Association and American Association of Law Schools.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain and communicate a firm understanding of the relevance of all regulations of the American Bar Association and other accrediting organizations.
- Provide advice and counsel to senior administrators about the relevance of the regulations of the American Bar Association and other accrediting organizations to the JD, LLM, LLCM, ML, and SJD programs.
- Analyze and provide interpretation on a variety of statistics, data, reports, and other information.
- Advise on historical record keeping.
- Serve as consultant on all accreditation efforts (ten-year cycle; next evaluation in 2023-24).

Qualifications: Bachelors and JD required. In-depth knowledge of ABA accreditation process and regulatory systems. Candidate should have a strong track record managing a host of disparate compliance and regulatory processes and providing in-depth, timely, and instructive analysis on a host of reporting issues as well as a demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise initiative, good judgment, and discretion.
