Director of Administration

The Director of Administration is a senior-level position that will serve as a change-management expert, a strategic advisor and project manager to the Senior Vice Chancellor, Business and Operations. The Director of Administration provides high level strategic direction and management oversight to the business operations including its various divisions across the University of Pittsburgh main campus.

Business Operations responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning and Advising
- Budget and Financial Management
- Project Management and Collaboration
- Human Resources
- Data Analysis and Reporting

The Director will interface with Vice Chancellors, Associate and Assistant Vice Chancellors, and other leadership under the purview of the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor, Business and Operations.

As a strategic advisor, the Director will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of Business and Operations strategic goals and initiatives. As project manager for Business and Operations, the incumbent will collaborate with the leadership across Business and Operations to develop project objectives and manage the project to completion.

Baccalaureate degree required. Master's Degree and previous University experience is preferred. Requires strong analytical and supervisory expertise with seven to ten years of experience in a managerial or leadership role. Significant experience in fiscal management/budget, project, communications, and/or human resources management is preferred.
