Associate Provost for Academic and Professional Affairs

MCPHS University (Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences) seeks an Associate Provost for Academic and Professional Affairs.  The Associate Provost is a senior level position which reports to and works closely with the Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost to provide vision, leadership and sound operational management across all MCPHS schools, programs and campuses, with particular emphasis on the following key areas: 1) student retention, curriculum development and assessment; 2) teaching effectiveness, instructional technology, faculty development and interprofessional education; 3) academic policy formation and administration;  and 4) academic communication and publications. 

Highly preferred qualifications are a terminal degree and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible academic administrative experience, including supervisory experience at the level of dean or exceptional leadership experience at the associate dean/program or school director level, along with an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit, excellent leadership skills, the ability to prioritize, multitask, and be an effective and collaborative team member.
