DIRECTOR, SCHOOL OF ARTS AND COMMUNICATION

Long Island University Brooklyn (“LIU Brooklyn”) invites nominations, applications, and expressions of interest for the position of Director of the School of Arts and Communication (“School”) on its Brooklyn campus. The Director serves a critical role as the School's chief academic and administrative officer, and liaison between the arts and communications community and the School. Reporting to the Dean of Arts and Sciences, the incoming Director will play a key role in articulating a dynamic vision for the School in a diverse, urban, and competitive environment; building external relationships with New York City's professional community; assessing and shaping the curricular and experiential opportunities; developing new and relevant programs in a variety of delivery models; and recruiting outstanding faculty and students.

Located in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, LIU Brooklyn is an urban, private institution that serves a diverse population of 8,500 students and offers nearly 160 programs leading to degrees through the doctorate in seven schools and colleges.
