The Division of Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of pediatric vascular anomalies and the design and conduct of clinical trials. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board-certified or eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology.
Teaching responsibilities may include didactic and clinical instruction of junior faculty, residents, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students and medical students.
Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient care focused on children, adolescents, and young adults with vascular anomalies at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and active involvement in fellowship training. The successful candidate must be able to collaborate with members of a large interdisciplinary team.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include expanding translational and clinical research efforts in our Complex Vascular Anomalies Program. The successful candidate will have an established record of peer reviewed scholarship.
