The Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future (CLF) based in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering (EHE) at The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a senior leader with expertise in food systems to serve as its Director.
Founded in 1996, the CLF is an inter-disciplinary academic center with collaborations and interactions across the university, locally, nationally and globally (details at http://www.jhsph.edu/clf). CLF integrates a range of research, practice, policy, advocacy, education, communication, and outreach activities to advance the Center’s mission. CLF works closely with students, educators, researchers, policymakers, advocacy organizations, and a variety of communities to build a healthier, more equitable, and resilient food system.
The CLF director should have a demonstrated record of the scholarship of discovery and/or translation to qualify for appointment within EHE and the School at the rank of professor and holder of the Robert S. Lawrence Professorship.
