The School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is accepting nominations and applications for the Ralph L. Brinster President's Distinguished Professorship. Internationally recognized scholars in the areas of germ cell biology and reproductive medicine are encouraged to apply. While the incumbents should demonstrate a commitment to quality teaching and service, the emphasis for this position is concentrated on leadership in the advancement of science. This is a senior position; and the candidate is expected to meet the standards for a tenured appointment at the Professor level.

The Chair is endowed annually to support the holder's research. The School of Veterinary Medicine is located at the heart of the University's Philadelphia campus in a highly interactive campus-wide biomedical research environment. The successful candidates will be recruited to the School and will be able to affiliate with University-wide Institutes, Centers, and Graduate programs including the Institute for Regenerative Medicine the Center for Reproduction and Women's Health, the Institute for Immunology, the Biomedical Graduate School, the Abramson Cancer Center, the Penn Vet Cancer Center and others.
