The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Anesthesiology, with completion of a fellowship in Neurocritical Care. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Candidate must be board-certified in training specialty; must have completed a UCNS-approved fellowship in Neurocritical Care, and must be board-certified or eligible in Neurocritical Care.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching fellows, residents and medical students as well as bedside rounds and a formal didactic curriculum.

Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in outpatient Traumatic Brain Injury follow-up clinic at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Other responsibilities include attending in the NeuroIntensive Care Units at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Applicants must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research or quality-improvement work, and clinical care.
