Surgical Oncology Breast Cancer Research Position

The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery at the University of Iowa invites applicants interested in advancing cutting edge breast cancer research to join our team.  Appointment rank is assistant research faculty.

 

Applicants must hold a PhD within biology or molecular biology. Applicants must have five years breast cancer research experience or more and have a proven record of high quality research, including a portfolio of excellent publications in high impact journals. Applicants will need to demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must also have demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.  Demonstrated ability to publish scientific findings as well as an established research portfolio are required. Experience in research at a level which enables procurement of outside funding is required.
