Technical Services Director:
The Technical Services Director exercises discretion, independent judgement, and strategic leadership to provide technical solutions and support. This position oversees the Help Desk and technical operations for endpoint computing and multi-media services. The Help Desk provides a first point of contact to the University for computing, multimedia, software and networking problems and questions. Help Desk staff assist University students, faculty and staff with technical issues and requests and collaborates with other areas of Information Technology to resolve more complex problems. The Director oversees computer replacement and multimedia installation and upgrades for the university. Participates in strategic planning, goal setting and implementing plan for the Office of Information Technology.
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
-Customer service experience and experience managing employees.
-A background check will be required of the successful applicant.
