Philosophy - Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy

Description:

The Hope College Department of Philosophy invites applications for a position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy beginning in Fall 2022.  The Area of Specialization is open.  An Area of Concentration in either Asian Philosophy or Feminist Philosophy is a plus.  The ability to teach interdisciplinary humanities courses (these cover key texts and figures in philosophy, history, and literature) is a must.  Job responsibilities include teaching three courses per semester, including interdisciplinary courses and upper-level philosophy courses.  

 

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Philosophy by time of appointment.
