The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.* Expertise is required in the specific area of plastic surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery or eligible for such certification.

Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic instruction of medical students and plastic surgery residents and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include building a practice in the full spectrum of plastic surgery.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical and/or basic science investigations in the field of plastic surgery.

The successful candidate will become a member of the Division of Plastic Surgery and will pursue a practice at Pennsylvania Hospital, the nation's oldest and a fully affiliated member of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Applicants who have completed an accredited fellowship in a plastic surgery subspecialty will be preferred.
