Vice President for Enrollment Management

DePauw University invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management. This cabinet level position serves as the University's chief enrollment officer with oversight of admissions, financial aid, and retention and with key responsibilities for recruiting and enrolling a highly talented, academically driven, and diverse student body. The Vice President for Enrollment Management will work closely with colleagues in strategic planning, student recruitment, financial aid, academic affairs, student academic life, and co-curricular programs such as Honors and Fellows and athletics to enhance and encourage student recruitment, retention, and growth.

DePauw is a nationally recognized, leading residential liberal arts college and school of music located 45 minutes from Indianapolis in Greencastle, Indiana (population 10,000). The Vice President for Enrollment Management provides leadership to the areas of administration related to admissions, financial aid, and retention while working with the President and other Cabinet colleagues to develop a plan for recruitment efforts that enhances financial access and is consonant with the University's strategic plan. Working closely with the School of Music and the Athletics Department, the Vice President will align the enrollment management efforts with the University's core values to recruit and retain a talented national and international student population.

The Vice President for Enrollment Management reports directly to the President is a valued member of the President's Cabinet and works closely with leadership and colleagues across the University. The Vice President oversees a budget of $3.5 million and leads a divisional team of approximately 35 staff. The Vice President for Enrollment Management oversees the departments of Admission and Financial Aid, which is made up of the following units: Recruitment, International, Retention, Visit Experience and Operations.

The Vice President must be a strategic thinker as well as a high-energy individual with a demonstrated capacity to lead the design and execution of an innovative, proactive, and effective admissions and recruiting program that advances DePauw's position as a leading national liberal arts institution and school of music.
