NDMU seeks an innovative, mission driven, strategic academic leader to build on these strengths as Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Reporting to the President, the Provost will provide leadership and administrative oversight of all academic schools & colleges, registrar, director of library, retention, and assessment of the University. In this cabinet level position, the successful candidate will work with the President and senior leadership team to implement the University's 5-year strategic plan. The Provost also will have key leadership roles in development of academic programs, policies, and procedures; oversight for retention and advisement/continuing registration; faculty relations and faculty and staff development; maintenance of accreditation; outcomes assessment; and budgeting/fiscal decision- making.

Required qualifications include an earned doctorate from an accredited college or university and significant senior administrative experience in higher education, preferably at VP or Dean level. A record of scholarly achievement sufficient to qualify for full professor at NDMU is preferred.
