The Department of World Languages and Literatures invites applications for a Lecturer in Italian with an opportunity to be involved in the shaping of a dynamic program in Italian. Creative energy, excellent pedagogical training, and a broad-ranging repertoire and teaching interests are essential. Willingness and ability to develop and teach dynamic courses at the intermediate level and/or courses in Italian cinema are highly desirable. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds. Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Italian or a related field, required. Ph.D. preferred. Experience teaching in the U.S. educational system is required. Experience teaching at the post-secondary level is preferred.
