BC/BE cardiologist and electrophysiologist for a faculty position at the rank of Associate

The University of Iowa, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting a BC/BE cardiologist and electrophysiologist for a faculty position at the rank of Associate.  Responsibilities will include two days per week of imaging, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograph and nuclear cardiology, and three days per week of mentored work on the electrophysiology service.  Additional responsibilities will also include inpatient service and covering a portion of night/weekend call for echocardiography and electrophysiology.  Candidates must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, be authorized to work in the U.S., and be BC in Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography and BC/BE in Electrophysiology.  A strong commitment to clinical research is required. Patient care will occur at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, affiliated outreach sites, and the affiliated Iowa City VA Medical Center.
