Willamette University's Atkinson Graduate School of Management is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Finance with appointment to begin in August 2017.

Rank: The rank for the position is open. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, teaching and research record.

This position is eligible for the University's generous benefits package that includes: medical/dental insurance, retirement contribution of 10% of gross base pay from the University in exchange for a mandatory contribution of 1% by the employee, tuition remission, and moving expense reimbursement.

Required Qualifications

Requirements:
A Ph.D. in finance and qualifications to teach at an accredited MBA program are required. We are looking for candidates who define their teaching interests broadly and have current primary teaching interests in corporate finance, financial institutions, and economics. Applicants must show commitment to continued teaching excellence and quality research. For appointments at the level of associate or full professor, applicants must have a record of publications in refereed finance journals. Responsibilities include teaching finance and/or economics in the MBA core and elective semester courses. Our main elective teaching needs are in corporate finance and financial institutions. In addition to teaching one or more standard courses in those areas we expect the successful candidate to develop related elective courses such as Mergers and Alliances or Venture Capital, that are consistent with the candidate's research and consulting interests and the teaching needs of the School. ABDs will be considered provided Ph.D. is completed by the time position starts in August 2017.
