This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with proven leadership abilities and strong analytic and communication skills to participate in shaping the future of a distinctive Quaker independent school. Founded in 1893, George School has a long tradition of academic excellence and commitment to developing engaged scholars committed to the Quaker values of truth and service. It is a joyful and diverse school, enrolling students from 23 states and 43 countries. The Director of Enrollment Management and Strategic Initiatives reports directly to the Head of School and will serve as the School's strategic leader responsible for long-term admission and enrollment goals developed through data driven market analysis, targeted communications, and the careful stewardship of prospective students and families through the application and admission process. The Director is expected to ensure the continual excellence of the School's student body through thoughtful recruitment and enrollment practices that will enable the School to deliver on its important educational values and ambitions. This individual will serve as a key member of George School's senior leadership team focused on planning and implementation of school priorities, including the development and execution of the School's upcoming strategic planning process. The Director will oversee a dedicated and talented staff of nine admissions and financial aid professionals.
Candidates are expected to bring an appreciation of George School's mission and goals, and a deep commitment to the tradition and philosophy of a Quaker educational community. The Director must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative and transparent work style. Significant experience in education, either at the secondary school level or in higher education, is essential. A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is strongly preferred.
