Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences

Indiana State University seeks applications and nominations for an experienced academic leader to serve as the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. The Dean is responsible for oversight of degree programs, human and fiscal resources, strategic planning, external funding, and faculty programs for a college that contains a diverse set of academic programs.

The College employs 370 faculty members, including 177 tenured/tenure-track faculty. Over 3,800 students are enrolled majors in the College, which includes approximately 500 students in graduate programs. The College also has a significant role in providing Foundational Studies (General Education) for all undergraduate majors (including those taught in professional areas). 

The College also contains a range of centers and clinics that support student education and serve the local community, including:

• The Center for Genomic Advocacy

• Genetic Counseling Clinic

• Psychology Clinic

• Science Education Center
