Tenure Track Associate Professor

TCU Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas Christian University seeks candidates for an Associate Professor 9-month tenure track position in Nursing.  Minimum requirements include MSN and an earned PhD in nursing or related field.  Candidates must have evidence of sustained scholarly productivity, evidence of excellence as a teacher, and expertise recognized at the regional/national level.

Candidates for this tenure track position should be established nurse scientists with a program of research that constitutes a significant contribution to the discipline of nursing.  Responsibilities include maintaining an active program of research and providing mentorship to faculty and students to promote productivity across levels.

Educational preparation and clinical expertise in leadership/management, medical-surgical, or mental health/behavioral health nursing preferred.  Experience teaching fully online, simulation, and interdisciplinary learning a plus. Candidates must hold or obtain a current, valid, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Texas. Rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience.
