The Board of Trustees of Aquinas College invites applications for the position of President. The College seeks an innovative and dynamic leader to serve as its 8th President and is seeking an individual who can lead Aquinas College to new prominence, providing quality education that equips its graduates for service, stewardship and success in their lives and careers. The new President is expected to take office on July 1, 2017.
The institution was founded by the Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1886 and is the only Catholic College in the western half of Michigan. The College offers 63 majors and associates, bachelors, and masters degrees in a variety of areas. Total enrollment, including traditional aged undergraduates plus part time adult undergraduate and graduate students is just under 2,000. Last year the College graduated its largest class ever. The average class size is 18 and the student/faculty ratio is 13:1. Aquinas attracts students from 60 Michigan counties, 24 states and 8 countries. There are approximately 90 full and 130 part-time faculty who bring a combination of research and real-world experience to their classrooms. Among the full-time faculty, 76 percent have the highest degree in their field.
The President of Aquinas College must provide strong, strategic, visionary leadership. The individual must be a person of strong Catholic faith who is committed to the Dominican charism of prayer, study, service and community. Candidates must have an advanced degree in their field.

Include also a current, long-form resume (it should show relevant administrative responsibilities and accomplishments) and the names, phone numbers, and email addresses of at least five references and the candidate’s relationship to each reference.
