The Department of Health Sciences and Human Performance within the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa invites applications for a tenure track position in Allied Health available Fall 2022.

Responsibilities will include a teaching load of 12 credit/contact hours per semester.
The candidate is expected to engage in scholarly activity, advise/mentor students, and participate in service to the department, college, university, and broader community.
Ph.D. in a Health Sciences and Human Performance related discipline required. Advanced ABD candidates considered.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in teaching a range of courses in allied health and the health sciences. Courses may include, but are not limited to, personal and family health, nutrition, introduction to allied health, and applied kinesiology.
Candidates are expected to have an interest in, and the ability to, teach courses at the introductory and upper division levels. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence in lower and upper division undergraduate courses is required.
The candidate is expected to demonstrate evidence of scholarly activity.
Salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
