DIRECTOR OF PROGRAMS SEARCH



Higher Education Resource Services (HERS), a leadership development and research organization that is dedicated to creating and sustaining a diverse network of women leaders in higher education, invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of Director of Programs. HERS is seeking an innovative leader who will work with the President and fellow staff to enhance and grow the organization's programming in line with its mission and values, while continuing to advance the reputation of HERS as well as support participants and create opportunities for them to build their networks.

Founded in 1972, HERS proudly serves as a network and resource for women eager to advance both themselves and their respective institutions of higher education. For nearly 50 years, HERS has made great strides with respect to the advancement of women in higher education and plans on boldly moving onward to ensure greater diversity and equity in university and college leadership. Through various programs, HERS provides program participants with transformational experiences and opportunities that result in stronger institutions of higher education. The new Director of Programs will join a hard-working, passionate, and dedicated team. In addition to the Director of Programs, other leadership positions include the President, Director of Finance and Administration, and Director of Marketing and Recruitment. Additional staff members include the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Event Manager, Executive Assistant to the President and Board Relations Coordinator, and two Senior Program Managers.

HERS maintains a business affiliation with the University of Denver and is headquartered at its campus in Denver, Colorado. HERS staff are recognized as University of Denver employees and have access to many of the benefits offered through the University. Although some staff permanently reside elsewhere throughout the country, it is expected that the Director of Programs will reside in Denver and be willing to travel to other locations on behalf of HERS.
