The Krannert School of Management at Purdue University invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Managerial Communication, a full-time, academic year, renewable appointment, beginning in August 2022. The Managerial Communication Lecturer will teach 24 contact hours of primarily graduate courses in managerial communication (some of which may be online) and the potential of some undergraduate courses; teaching responsibilities include graduate sections on presentational skills, data visualization, persuasion, business writing, and other managerial communication courses. The Managerial Communication Lecturer may also have the opportunity to offer special courses in their primary area of study.

Qualifications:

A Ph.D. in Communication or related field is preferred, a Master’s Degree in Communication or a related field is required for this position. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of teaching experience, a passion for mentoring students, and the ability to teach a diverse student population. Candidates who also have industry experience in Communication or Business are strongly encouraged to apply.
