Executive Director for the Center for Women and Business

Bentley University, one of the nation's leaders in business education, seeks a strategic, forward-thinking and collaborative leader to serve in the critically important role of executive director for the Gloria Cordes Larson Center for Women and Business. The Gloria Cordes Larson Center for Women and Business (CWB) at Bentley University was founded with the mission to create more inclusive and equitable workplace cultures where all employees thrive and succeed. The CWB partners with organizations to help them create and nurture more inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplaces. In addition, the CWB is uniquely positioned to ensure that Bentley become recognized for its commitment to affirm and support its female faculty, students and staff. Reporting to the provost & vice president for academic affairs, this highly visible role leads the CWB, drives revenue growth and provides strategic direction and thought leadership to advance the mission of the Center. The executive director will lead the effort to clarify and define the CWB business plan and product roadmap with a particular emphasis on impact, thought leadership and sustainability. The CWB has a rich history of revenue generation.  The executive director develops strategies and plans to deliver impactful programs to multiple corporate audiences, evaluates efficacy of the current program portfolio and leads the development of new product offerings, which may include assessments, corporate-sponsored research, and train-the-trainer programs.

This is a unique opportunity for an innovative leader to develop the vision and strategy to elevate the CWB's strengths, interests and investment in advancing as a platform for thought leadership, engaging with external stakeholders, and emerging as a leader in creating and nurturing more inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplaces with a focus on belonging. The new leader will be an accomplished academic administrator with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and strong financial and managerial acumen. They will have a documented record of teaching success, as represented in teaching awards and achievements, and proficiency in the deployment of instructional technologies.
