Position Focus:
Admissions and enrollment management
Create, set up, and test application documentation/system with the YSE Office of Admissions
Create, and publish online communication/media assets for online programs

January to April:
Manage communication with prospective applicants, and oversee the application process
Oversee the work of the review teams, including reviewing and editing the admissions assessment instructions and preparing annual summary reports

Evaluate rubrics and grading for our admissions and scholarship evaluations and propose and implement improvements

Maintain admissions decision language

April to June
Update intent to enroll forms, and prepare decision letters, if necessary with input from CBEY staff and the Office of the General Counsel

Manage all phases of communication with admits, including final decision notification, related follow up and any additional program information

Online teaching assets production and online delivery system design
Manage the coordination and implementation of content creation for new online courses, in collaboration with faculty, CBEY staff, and as the case may be, with the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning. This includes:
Project management for the creation of teaching assets, including lectures and a variety of assignments

Recording support in coordination with other CBEY staff and faculty

Developing media assets, and preparing and updating production plans to align with the Yale Broadcast Studio for select programs

Video and caption management

Creating web content on select online delivery platforms

Investigate, test, and prepare final online teaching delivery platforms

Coordinate delivery calendars

Sales, marketing, and business modeling
For open enrollment programs, leverage digital marketing and sales techniques to develop target candidates, work sales pipeline, follow up with prospects, and secure participants for specific online programs, in collaboration with other CBEY staff and Yale Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning

For admissions-based programs, support the existing marketing team and processes as need be, by implementing a variety of awareness and engagement strategies, as including collaborating with staff, faculty, and students

Support the program director in the preparation of budgets and business models for new programs

Essential Duties
1. In support of the overall mission, plans, directs and oversees programmatic activities. 2. Develops, implements, and maintains operational policies and procedures. 3. Manages program communications; identifies outreach potential, and promotes philanthropic and collaborative support of the program. 4. Works closely with leadership, internal and external colleagues, and community residents to further develop and implement strategic plans. 5. Identifies, solicits, and cultivates community partnerships and collaborations to assist in the development and growth of the program. 6. Tracks all program activities and regularly informs leadership of progress on each initiative. Recommends structural or programmatic adjustments, changes or additions based on full knowledge of missions, goals, and objectives. Develops metrics to identify and measure the success of the program. 7. Assists in identifying and evaluating potential future funding sources, and contributes to the submission of grants and contracts supporting the program, including the annual submission and writing of all content areas and budgetary sections of grant applications. 8. Develops and manages the program's operating budget. 9. Manages the administrative infrastructure of the program. Manages human resources including staffing and hiring, supervision, performance development, counseling and discipline, if warranted. Oversees and manages information systems, facilities, and space needs. 10. May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent organizational skills and communication skills, both oral and written.

Required Skill/Ability 2:
Demonstrated project management skills. Proven ability to be proactive and purpose-driven, especially as it relates to process management and improvement. Driven to find creative solutions to problems.

Required Skill/Ability 3:
Demonstrated successful client/customer satisfaction, both internal and external.

Required Skill/Ability 4:
Experience leading both front-office (relationships and communications) and with back-office (operations and processes).

Required Skill/Ability 5:
Experience and ease working independently but in close contact with the rest of the team.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and four years of related experience. Experience developing curriculum is preferred. Experience in a sales and/or admissions environment, a plus. Experience preparing budgets and business models.
