Job Description Summary
This is a veterinary technician position in support of experiments utilizing large animals. The main responsibility is to assist the PI and the other laboratory members in performing experiment by prepping the animals for experiments, assisting with the experimental procedures and the recovery. In addition to the duties directly related to experiments, the technician will maintain the laboratory equipment and supplies. The technologist will also compile and manage storage of the acquired data and will monitor and record the condition of the survived animals. The technician will maintain the proper documentation that is required to comply with IACUC and other applicable regulations.
