Clinical Faculty Position in Public Service Communications

The Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University (NYU Wagner) invites applicants for a clinical faculty member with expertise in public policy communications in a public service environment, including government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and/or healthcare or hospital organizations.  In addition to teaching, successful candidates will be responsible for directing a cohort of students in NYU Wagner’s new Master of Science in Public Policy program with the goal of developing and creating a cohesive academic and co-curricular student experience.

Applicants must hold a graduate degree (PhD preferred) and have at least 10 years of professional experience. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience teaching strategic and persuasive oral and written communications skills courses, as well as critical analysis and research, in a graduate public administration or public health program. Successful candidates will have experience teaching courses focused on effectively communicating and influencing a position or change in public policy or public opinion.

The successful candidate will join NYU Wagner’s full-time faculty and should have a strong interest in interacting with faculty, staff, and students in a multi-disciplinary professional school of public service.
