Job Description Summary
The position is a temporary assignment, and is responsible for managing the experience of learners in a portfolio of executive education programs. This position will manage learners in collaboration with the PDM team during the design and delivery of programs. Experience Manager is responsible for supporting the program delivery, website creation, and follow-up activities for executive education programs. This includes programs held virtually as well as onsite at the Steinberg Conference Center, locations on the University of Pennsylvania campuses. 

Reporting Relationships
The position reports directly to the Associate Director, Open Enrollment, but will work closely with the PDM team. This position support a portfolio of Open Enrollment and Custom programs. This position also interacts regularly with Wharton faculty, external faculty, executives from client companies, and external vendors.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Manage faculty relationships relative to program delivery, and follow up.
  • Handle creation of videos from programs as needed.
  • Welcome participants and provide critical and timely information and announcements to program participants for duration of the program. 
  • Maintain ownership of client relationships related to all aspects of program delivery, scheduling, and special events.
  • Collaborate with Program Directors to ensure that all program materials are finalized and communicated accurately and timely. 
  • Support virtual programs in Zoom, Teams, or other platforms as assigned.
  • Work closely with corporate sponsors of all programs and serve as primary contact for clients and program faculty to finalize program logistics and details.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience.
  • 2-3 years experience coordinating conference or management training programs preferred, virtual environment a necessity.
  • Proven ability in public speaking and confidence in face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Flexible work starting and ending times. Work hours will be set based on program assignments, and will at times require early morning, evenings, and weekend coverage.
  • Ability to work with virtual platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and other platforms for Live programs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to be a creative, collaborative problem-solver
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills and mature judgment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Ability to plan, organize & monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to integrate ideas and concepts.
  • Highly developed organizational skills, strict attention to details.
  • Friendly, flexible, service-oriented manner.
  • Proven ability to respond positively to extreme pressures of time and workload.
  • Technology skills preferred: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Hive, Canvas, internally developed e-learning solutions, along with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Ability to adapt quickly to new technology platforms and apps as needed.
