Job Description Summary
The Neurodevelopment & Psychosis Section in the Department of Psychiatry, and the Lifespan Brain Institute (LiBI) of Penn Medicine and CHOP are devoted to the study of brain and behavior throughout the lifespan. The Clinical Research Coordinator will contribute to Psychosis projects including recruitment, clinical intake, assessment with established scales and quality control.

Clinical Research Coordinator

The Psychosis research program of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania and the Lifespan Brain Institute (LiBI) at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) have an opening for a Clinical Research Coordinator A to be part of a NIH research project on the evolution of psychosis in young people. The coordinator will assist in all aspects of the project including recruitment, screening and assessment of potential participants, scheduling of research visits, conducting semi-structured clinical interviews with participants and their families, administration of neurocognitive tests, screening for MRI studies and collection and maintenance of clinical, neurocognitive, and neuroimaging data. The coordinator will also be responsible for administrative aspects of the project including scheduling and minutes of research team meetings, IRB submissions and preparation of progress reports.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, nursing or other related fields, and a minimum of 1-2 years clinical research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience working with individuals with psychotic disorders and adolescents, as well as experience in semi-structured diagnostic interviewing and psychological testing are preferred. The candidate must have strong organizational, leadership, oral and written communication, and computer skills. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends will be required.

Position contingent on continued funding.
